Brian R. Luckey
February 16, 1973 ~ July 10, 2022
On Sunday July 10 th 2022, Brian Luckey, passed away suddenly at the age of 49. Brian was born on
February 16 th 1973 in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. He is survived by father Richard Luckey and mother
Bonita Meredith, his sister Kristina Rogers, his brother Craig Luckey, his 2 daughters Taylor Lee and
Brittney Luckey, his grandsons Mason and Maverick Lee and several cousins, nephews and niece.
Brian loved the outdoors. He recently bought property in Cotopaxi Colorado and would spend most
weekends fishing and drinking beer. That was probably his proudest purchase! Brian’s favorite pass
time was to spend it with family around his campfire or watching a good football game with
friends/family and of course his dogs Finnley, Keela and grand dog Garbanzo.
Brian always used to say “it is what it is,” in any situation whether it was a minor inconvenience or big
problem. Well let’s be honest, Brian said many things but not as appropriate! He always had a way of
lighting up the room and filling it with laughter. Many memories that have been told involve his ‘dad’
jokes and his way of making everyone feel like they have known him for years. Brian had a way with
people and has done nothing less than make a huge impact on this world.
Services will be held on August 7 th 2022 at the Stonebrook Manor in Thornton, Colorado from 3pm-
8pm MST.
I first got to know Brian when he was a teenager that came to work at Albertsons. He was always being funny and a good guy to work with. We lost contact for a while. I was still at the same Albertsons store when Brian came back as a store director. Really enjoyed working for him and we had some fun times. He was always an upbeat person and we shared a lot of laughs! Ill miss you friendī¸.
