January 4, 1968 ~ January 6, 2014
Brandon was born on Jan. 4, 1968 to Larry Zipse and Linda Basnett (Zipse) In Denver, CO. In his youth he enjoyed playing little league football and being with his friends. He also enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing with his brothers, Steve & Doug. In addition he enjoyed playing golf and bowling. In 2004 he was diagnosed with leukemia and after treatments he was cancer free until 2012. He underwent a bone marrow transplant in April of 2013 and things were looking good. He was able to enjoy his fishing and camping in his beloved Rocky Mountains. According to him, his golf game was getting better! But as leukemia can do, it 'raised its ugly head' last week. Brandon passed away on Jan. 6, 2014. His deep spiritual belief helped make him strong through all of his endurances. He is survived by his father, Larry (Sandy) Zipse, his mother Linda (Gary) Reese, his brothers, Steve and Doug (Robin), half sisters Paula (Bob) Rush and Jennifer (Jim) Kapus. Also surviving him are his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many cousins. His loving soul mate, Stephanie Wommack and her 2 girls, Amanda and Jessica as well as his best friend Curt and many friends will miss him terribly. He is at peace and pain free playing golf and fishing in heaven. We love and will miss him always!!
