Resided in: Littleton, Colorado

With deep love and profound sadness, we announce the passing of Bradley Thomas Sheehan on June 19, 2025, at the age of 68. A cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Brad leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and the kind of presence that filled a room with ease.

Brad was born on May 19, 1957, in Cambridge, England. The son of Dennis and Martha Sheehan, Brad’s childhood was shaped by his father’s career in the U.S. Air Force, allowing him to live around the world with his siblings. After moving to Colorado, he graduated from Aurora Central High School in 1975, a year he fondly referred to as his “glory days.”

In 1985, Brad met the love of his life, Lauren, and they married in 1987 and built a beautiful life together where they raised two daughters, Jillian and Hannah. He later found a new joy in becoming “Papa” to his granddaughter, Holly.

Brad spent over 40 years as a civil engineer and was an avid golfer, movie quote enthusiast, expert steak griller, and loved travel and adventure, exploring places like Hawaii, Scotland, and Alaska, often picking destinations based on movies he loved.

He is survived by his beloved wife Lauren, daughters Jillian (son-in-law, Mitch) and Hannah (son-in-law, Brett), granddaughter Holly, brothers Dirk and Rick Sheehan, Sister Dana Sheehan, many nieces and nephews, countless friends, many of whom have known and loved him for decades.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Dennis and Martha Sheehan.

A funeral will be held on Thursday, July 10, at 10:30 a.m. at Light of the World Catholic Church: 10306 W Bowles Ave, Littleton, CO 80127, with a reception will follow. He will be laid to rest at Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery.

Please wear your Dallas Cowboys or Denver Broncos colors at the funeral as an homage to his sports-loving spirit.

Brad will be missed beyond words, loved beyond measure, and remembered every time we hear a great song, hit the golf course, or sit down for a really good burrito.

  5. I meet Brad when I started working at CDOT 14 years ago. He was always kind and respectful to me. He stood up for me during problem times in the office, and I knew then I would always have a forever friend. I miss his smile, silly jokes and funny stories. I will miss my friend. My condolences to his lovely wife Lauren and two beautiful daughters, Jillian and Hannah. Know that he loved you all very much and kept many pictures of all of you in the office. God Bless.
