Bonnie Lee Austin of Castle Rock, CO, passed away on February 12, 2016. Bonnie was born in Butte, Montana to John and Kathryn Lemler. Bonnie graduated from Butte High School in 1968. Bonnie moved with her family to Colorado in 1980, and then to New Jersey in 1987 and then back to Colorado in 1991.
Bonnie is survived by her partner, Gary Carter, daughters Melissa Richardson of Highlands Ranch and Keri (Kiley) Brenneman; three granddaughters: Hailey, Hannah and Molly Brenneman, all of Castle Rock; sisters Betty Babb of Butte Montana and Mary Pat O'Dea of Billings, Montana.
Bonnie loved her family and friends and always had a big smile on her face. Bonnie traveled extensively and made friends everywhere she went.
Services will be held on Friday, February 19th at 10:30 AM. There will be a video and pictures of Bonnie's life beginning at 10:00 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 2746 5th St., Castle Rock, CO 80104.
We have set up a memorial fund for a memorial bench on the church grounds. The account is Bonnie Austin Memorial Fund, US Bank-Routing #102000021, Account #103683782181, all donations that exceed the memorial bench will be donated to St. Francis of Assisi.
