Betty was born January 31, 1925 in Wilmington, Delaware to Harold and Marie (Tracy) Megonigal. She passed away May 6, 2015 in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Betty is preceded in death by her husband Henry M. Gooden. She is survived by her 2 Children Bill and Judy. Graveside services will be held at Arlington National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her husband Henry.

Betty was one of a kind, my sister, confident and all the things that make a sister so special. She was the eldest. I was the youngest of five and she watched over me, taught me to read before I went to school and was always there if and when I needed her. I will miss her terribly but thankful to have had her all these years.
