It is with profound sorrow and enduring love that we commemorate the passing of Ausencio Escalante. Ausencio was more than just a man; he was a beacon of kindness, strength, humility, and unwavering love. His wisdom, gleaned from a life dedicated to hard work and family, shaping the lives of those around him, leaving an indelible mark on our hearts. He labored tirelessly to provide his family with a nurturing and enriching upbringing, a testament to his selflessness and devotion.

Ausencio’s legacy lives on through his beloved wife, Elisa Munoz Escalante, his daughters, Elizabeth, Norma , and Jackie, and his cherished grandchildren, Dominic, Isabella, Franklin, and Julissa. Each of us carries a piece of him within us, a reminder of the love and guidance he so freely gave. Ausencio found solace and joy in the natural world. His mornings were a symphony of simple pleasures: the rich aroma of roasted coffee filling the house as he whistled his favorite tunes, a ritual that will forever echo in our memories. Animals were drawn to his gentle spirit, a testament to his innate kindness and empathy. Dominic, his grandson, shared a special bond with him through their horses, Susan and Khaleesi, whose antics never failed to bring a smile to Ausencio’s face.

Throughout his life, Ausencio poured his heart into his work, with landscaping holding a special place in his affections. He possessed a unique gift for nurturing gardens, transforming ordinary spaces into vibrant havens of beauty. Beyond his work, Ausencio found joy in riding horses, attending rodeos, savoring barbecue ribs, and spending quality time with his family and friends, exploring the world together. Above all, Ausencio cherished his family, showering his wife, daughters, and grandchildren with boundless love and affection. He is preceded in death by his beloved grandson, Jovanny whom he now joins in eternal rest. Though he may be gone from our sight, his spirit remains, free to roam endless gardens and ride countless horses. His pain has ceased, and his memory will endure, not just in one or two ways, but in the countless lives he touched as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, friend, and a humble man who extended a helping hand to all who crossed his path on this journey we call life.
