Augustine's james Lopez peacefully passed at home with his family on March 30,2021
Loving father of Jay, Judy, Debbie, Nancy, Barbara, jr
Proud grandfather of 14 grandchildren and 12 grandchildren. He was born to Jesus and Mary Lopez in Saginaw, Michigan. He had 1 brother and 7 sister's. He graduated from Sacred Heart High school. Augie met the love of his life Stella while traveling with his baseball team. In his spare time he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was an avid fan of the Detroit Tigers, watched western movie's, listened to his 50's music,watched CNN news, enjoyed going to Central City to play his favorite video poker machine. Augie 's signature look was his pocket t- shirt, Levi's, sneakers,and he paired it with his favorite Detroit Tigers baseball hat and his sunglasses.

Auggi you were a kind soul. You enjoyed your life and very proud of your family. These are things that I could see. Your Barb and your number 1 had nothing but nice things to say about you. I am #1sister the one that made you macaroni salad. I loved doing that for you because I know how you enjoyed it. The times that we saw you you were always kind. Your really going to be missed. Enjoy heaven Auggi you deserve it.

Grandpa, the best grandpa I could have ever asked for. Our bond is something I will always hold close to my heart. You amazed me in many ways. Hardworking, a fighter, most of all an amazing father, husband and grandfather. We liked to cause trouble together and your fiesty, hilarious, and hard work ethic runs through me. Augie I just want to thank you for being such a tremendous Grandpa to Seth he is definitely going to miss you. Also thank you for being so kind to us it was a blessing getting to know you. Ron and I always loved coming over and praying for you and with you. Now you are up in heaven with Jesus and I can only imagine how marvelous that is.

Most of all you was a hell a man . I have much respect for your hard work ethics. You was a very Blount man and always said what was on your mind no matter we're you was or who was there. Every time me and you went up to the hill you always told a story about you and your younger days or something about one your kids .I give you and miss Stella much thanks they way the both of you accepted me in your family . Now both of you can reunite in your own casino . RIP !

Poppo, you always made sure your poppi was taken care of. You gave him unconditional love that will stay with him forever. I can never thank you enough for everything you have done, I am forever grateful. I promise to take care of your poppi and raise him to be the man you wanted to see him turn into. My strong, handsome grandpa, I miss you so much.. thank you for being the best grandpa in the world. You taught us all how to be a fighter, how to say what's on our minds, and be the hardest worker in the room. Thank you for always telling me how you felt because now I'm able to hold onto those strong words. You made me feel so proud and you never missed a chance to make me laugh. You loved me for who I was and everytime I hear your voice I turn and see your handsome face. I know you're at peace and with the love of your life. Grandpa you will be deeply missed. I remember when I was in high school I would walk to your house and we would have lunch together every other day. I will always remember your laughter, your jokes, and your stubbornness. You are no longer in pain or stuck inside the house anymore. Rest in Peace with the angels 😇 grandpa. I love you ❤

I always called him grandpa bear. I remember going place with him and when he took me swimming. He use to love giving me sugar when my mom didn't want us to have any haha! He was his own person. Who didn't sugra coat anything. My favorite memory was when him and grandma lived in the white house with the giant living room with the small swimi g pool in the front. I was pretty sad when they moved fron that house. I will miss your witty personality and the way you would say my name. LOVE YOU GRANDPA BEAR ❤
