Amelia Wanca

Amelia (Millie) Wanca, 85, died on January 20, 2010 in Castle Rock, Co. Born April 17, 1924 in Detroit, Michigan. She lived with her family in Littleton Colorado. Devoted wife of her late husband, Cass Wanca. Mother of Maryanne Wanca-Thibault and the late David Wanca. Grandmother of Jennifer and Nicole Wanca and great-grandmother of Evan Wanca. Sister of Karen Horner and brother of the late Edward Fecko. Millie will be missed by her family and friends. She was a wonderful mother and had a long career with the Department of Water Resources in Denver Colorado. She and her husband were active parishioners at St. Mary's Church in Littleton, Colorado. Millie will be cremated and her ashes laid to rest with Cass. Graveside services will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery on Thursday, January 28, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. (Staging area "A"). Donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Colorado or the Denver Hospice.
