Alice Salazar

Alice Salazar, age 83, passed away Sunday, May 7th. She was born February 20, 1923, in Moses, New Mexico (a rural area near the City of Clayton) to Cornelio and Genobeba Maestas. She was one of four children - a brother, Emilio, and two sisters, Mercedes (Perez) and Helen.



Alice is survived by her husband of 59 years, Samuel Salazar of Denver. Also, 5 children: Anthony (Patricia) of Westminster, Arthur (Vicky) of Denver, Sharon and Shirley of Denver, and Patricia (David) Watkins of Littleton.



Her grandchildren include Micah (Julie) Salazar, Buena Vista, CO; Miriam (Andrew) Blauth, Sioux Falls, SD; Troy (Shirley) Salazar, Denver; Shay (Glen) Lucero, Denver; Christina Salazar, Denver; Sarah and Shane, Denver; and Natalie and Angeline, Littleton.



She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, including Paulina Perez of Denver.

Graveside service Friday (5/12/2006) 9:00 a.m. at Fort Logan National Cemetery (staging area B).
