Aaron Bennie Samora Jr. was born October 1, 1998 in Denver, Colorado. Aaron had a very tumultuous birth being born premature. In fact, he was thought not likely to survive–but God had other plans. He granted Aaron Jr.’s father, Aaron Sr., his mother Joanne and his siblings; Amber, Andrew and Adam the special opportunity to get to know and love the warrior Aaron Jr. came to be.
After graduating from the NICU and eventually making it home from the hospital, Aaron Jr. was still hardly left alone. If he wasn’t being looked after by his mom or being held for hours by his father, he was being smothered with love by his big sister.
Aaron was a sweet, high energy, ornery child that developed a very funny and unique sense of humor. He was also very giving and generous.
When Aaron was school-aged, he attended Calvary Academy, a private school located in North Little Rock, Arkansas. He made friends easy, participated in children’s church activities and learned about Jesus and what it means to worship God. As a child, Aaron also found his love for tools and for the Art of War. If he wasn’t trying to fix or build things while watching Bob the Builder, he was playing with his GI Joes and simulating battle scenes.
Aaron always loved his family and friends. He loved to have sleepovers, have big birthday parties, spend summers in Colorado with his grandparents, take family trips to Estes Park and even spend time with those he loved doing ‘nothing’–such as watching cookies bake in the oven with his sister.
As if he could not get any cuter, his face received a new addition…glasses! His playfulness came easy and his humorous personality brought him even more warm affection. Then came video games–Aaron especially enjoyed Xbox. Aaron also loved watching Saturday morning cartoons on cable TV and listening to audiobooks and music while on long drives or at bedtime. Bionicle, Yu-Gi-Oh, Mass Effect, Halo, Treasure Planet and Star Wars are just a few interests that became his obsession. Their stories about noble causes and building a better future in the midst of life’s chaos intrigued Aaron.
Then, along came Andrew and Aaron was a big brother! Still being young, there was much to learn about Aaron and his likes and dislikes. He loved food so much that when he ate foods he loved, he would moan when he’d eat them.
Aaron and his family moved back to Colorado where he finished his elementary school years at Stukey Elementary School. It was here where Aaron grew a passion for art. Then he became a big brother again, this time to Adam. Aaron was very ornery, but also very protective of his brothers. As siblings do they fought and argued at times. But they love each other, kept each other safe and ‘had each other’s backs’.
On to middle school–Aaron attended Niver Creek Middle School in Thornton, Colorado. His high school years took place at Westminster Highschool and Hidden Lake intermediate School. School was not an easy task for Aaron, but he was determined. During his high school years,
Aaron resided at his Nana Naomi’s house where he, until he left us, continued to build friendships and relationships with neighbors, friends and family–and even a few girlfriends. Of those friendships, there are a few very close friends that stand out. One was his friend Cody. Aaron and Cody were almost inseparable. Aaron often stayed with Cody. In fact, Cody and his family became a second family to Aaron–even the young children referred to him as Uncle Aaron. With Cody’s family gearing up to move to West Virginia, and Aaron still needing to complete school, Aaron decided to enter the Job Corps. He took a Greyhound bus to Utah and eventually earned his Certification in Welding.
Aaron worked mainly customer service jobs–Wal-Mart, King Soopers, McDonalds and KFC to name a few. Working in Customer Service came as no surprise as Aaron loved people and helping others made him happy. Over the years, Aaron lived with his mom, his Aunt Stephanie and his Nana. He even lived in West Virginia with Cody and his family. No matter where he was, Aaron always checked in on his sister and brothers.
Upon returning home to Colorado and his Nana’s house, there was still even more to learn about Aaron. He loved rock music and oldies so much that he bought guitars for himself and for his dad. He liked unusual foods and weird concoctions of foods with an ever more adventurous palate–and yes, he still moaned when he enjoyed what he ate!
Even though Aaron was young he faced many difficulties–many of which affected his health. You wouldn’t know it though. No matter what he was going through, Aaron was quick to crack a joke. He made it a point to make someone smile and laugh–even if it was himself. He was always a giving person. If someone needed slippers, he’d give his own if he had nothing else to give.
Aaron was looking forward to getting his first car, taking new and exciting trips, learning to play his guitar, getting his GED and many other things. Aaron, more than anyone, loved his dad. His dad was the person Aaron wanted to spend the most time with. His dad was Aaron’s confidant and best friend. Even up to the day that Aaron passed away, he and his dad had been side-by-side. Aaron fought bravely…like he has done since the day he was born–but the Lord called him home.
Aaron passed away on January 1, 2025from a brain hemorrhage that he suffered a few days before. As we might struggle to understand his passing, we trust that the Lord has a purpose for him. We miss Aaron terribly and miss what could have been his future. Still, we hold fast to knowing that we will see him again. Until then, Aaron, Rest.

I conceive this website has some rattling excellent info for everyone : D.
This actually answered my drawback, thank you!
Son, I’m going to miss you very much. You will always be my Sonshine! It’s so hard to say goodbye for now, son. You made me so proud as a mother, and all the love you shown towards me regardless of the circumstances. I will miss hearing you say, “I love you Mom”.
Son, it wasn’t easy driving all the way from Arkansas not knowing what the up coming days would hold, sitting in the hospital for 11 days after you’d already been there 3 days. Watching you lay there fighting for your life after your brain bleed and several strokes. It was amazing before that seeing you turn your head when I walked into the room and called out your name. 12/23 you were very active all day as I sat and sang to you, read verses of scripture and prayed with you. Before leaving that night you actually waived bye to me, your mother when I said bye Aaron I’ll be back tomorrow, I love you. I love you Son. – Mom
Write more, thats all I have to say. Literally, it seems as though you relied on the video to make your point. You definitely know what youre talking about, why throw away your intelligence on just posting videos to your site when you could be giving us something informative to read?
Benny – soft spoken and easy going. He is forever etched in my memory. Even in his passing he leaves a noble legacy that keeps on giving… he learned that from his mother! Miss you Bro! Love & Prayers to the Samora family! Granny Dee
