When you have to go thru this difficult time it is so great to have Jim helping you. They did my mother in laws arrangements so I thought I would try when my mom passed . They were amazing . The price was more than fair & Jim took so much off my plate . They were professional to a T. I had so many worries & Jim took care of everything , My Mom looked amazing . So do not use the large companies they will just rip you off & hire inexperienced "kids" with no compassion to help you at a difficult time ! Different from last time is a beautiful web site where friends & family can post .. That helped too , people could even send flowers via that site ! Very professional . Jim Stork was kind and very helpful. He showed us the caskets he had and told us the price with no pressure to buy something expensive. He handled transporting her from the coroners office and to the cemetery . We planned our own service so did not use those services from Jim.

Impressed - thoughtful, caring and understanding. I would encourage anyone dealing with the difficult planning for a loved one to reach out. The entire staff is amazing. My biggest concern was would my dad be cremated by himself. Jim explained that Stork-Bullock owns their own crematory, that gave me an instant peace of mind. This was most important to me. I reached out to Stork-Bullock when my father suddenly passed away. Leonard answered my call on a Sunday morning when another well known mortuary didn't bother to call me back. Leonard talked with me and explained exactly what would happen. He even made it a point to call me when he had picked up my dad. It was very meaningful. I made my appointment to set up arrangements and worked with Jim, he was completely understanding as I asked a lot of questions about the process, I was at ease with my decision. The care continued as I picked up my father remains, the woman who assisted me was thoughtful. I was happy with the urn I choose and the plaque was so pretty. First and foremost I would like to thank Leonard for his exceptional service he provided to my family during this painful time of loosing our matriarch (my mother). We had called other places and felt like we were getting taken advantage of it was terribly overwhelming, then I was referred to Stork Mortuary from a family friend. They treated us with patience, respect, and guidance. Times like this your at a complete loss and this man listened and made us feel like we were important and not just a client. I highly recommend going to Stork Mortuary. They worked with our budget and didn't try and push things we didn't need on us. I would have not been able to get through this without the service I received. This company and Leonard went above and beyond to make sure my mother had a beautiful service. It's been over 14 months since my son died tragically and unexpectedly, but I will never forget the kindness and compassion that Jim Stork showed to me and my family. An unexpected death of a young person requires extra compassion and attention (in my humble opinion). Jim knew just how to handle our situation, never pressured us about purchasing anything extra, price was so reasonable and he knew just what to say to comfort us. His building is quaint and feels more like a family home.
