Shizuko Honda Ralph
June 21, 1931 ~ January 4, 2022
Died on January 4, 2022 from injuries suffered from an accident at her home months earlier. She was born on June 21, 1931 in Yokohama, Japan. She came to America in 1955 and became a citizen of the United States in 1968 (one of her proudest moments). She lived in the San Francisco Bay Area, Syracuse (Liverpool) New York, Chicago, Illinois and the Denver/Boulder area since 1971. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Charles Ralph. Also surviving are her son, Kirby Burnett, and pre-deceased by her daughter Dayle Burnett Scandur and grandchildren, Elle Stice, Colin Stice and Hunter Burnett.

I meet Shizuko at work in 1973 and we became close friends. She sure was a joy to visit with as She was cheerful and happy. She also gave good advice. I loved having her and Chuck over for holidays at my home. She became part of my family. We will miss her smiling face and laugh. Peace and love to her family.
