Paul Dean Ball

Paul Ball, age 72,  born in Trinidad, CO March 1, 1951, and at a young age moved to Pueblo, CO where he was raised. Paul passed away peacefully, June 8, 2023, at his home in Lakewood, CO. Preceded in death by his parents, Keith and Pauline (Klobas) Ball; sisters Betty Davis, Sharon Gilmore; brother Bob Ball.

He is survived by his loving wife, Julie; daughter Janellee (Ray) Moss; son Stephen Ball; grandsons Colin and Gavin Moss ; sisters Janice Pershin (Bill), Pam Magoon; sister- in-law Karen Ball. Also, numerous cousins and nieces and nephews.

Paul graduated from Pueblo Central High School in 1969. He was a high school basketball two-time All American, and he went on to play college ball at Colorado State University and graduated with a BA degree in Accounting. He embraced change and after 40 years decided to go back to school and earned a teaching certification, and he substituted in area middle and high schools in math and science primarily until he retired.  He was a loving and attentive husband and father, always putting his family first. He loved traveling with his family, and participating with his children in all aspects of their lives, from joining them at concerts, all theme parks, all vacation adventures to school activities they were apart of with a front row seat to see them become the wonderful people they are today. He loved being a grandfather and every moment he could spend with his grandsons was the joy of his life.

He was a large presence and will be missed everyday.
