Laszlo Istvan Kutor

László Istvan Kutor, 88, of Golden, CO passed away on January 6, 2023, just 4 days shy of his 89th birthday.
László was born on January 10, 1934 in Budapest, Hungary. He lived through World War II, The Hungarian Uprising in 1956, and became a Master Machining Tradesman. He also met and married his wife, Ilona in 1956. László was a devoted loving husband to Ilona (nee Sajgo) across 66 years and two continents. In 1974 he became the very best "Papa" his daughter Edina could ever have asked for. In 1978, László and Ilona decided escaping communist Hungary would be the only way to forge a good life. They managed to escape and found their way to peace in the U.S. in 1979 - settling in Colorado.
His warmth, kindness, dry sense of humor, and mischievous laughter (especially at his own jokes) will be dearly missed.

Guestbook

  1. Dear Ilona, Edina, and John,
My deepest sympathy for your loss. I am shocked and saddened as well. He was such a sweet man. He was quiet, and his eyes were always smiling and twinkly; his grin was contagious, as well as his chuckle. It made me smile to hear and see it. He loved you so much, and it showed every minute. He always wanted each of you to be happy, and if there was anything you needed, that he could do. May all your cherished years of happy and fun memories bring you peace and comfort. He is your angel, and he will always be with you.
    Love and hugs to you!!!
