A Celebration of Life
Larry Lloyd Elliott, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully at the age of 88.
Born in Seneca, Kansas in 1937, Larry was the eldest of four children of John and Elizabeth Elliott. He grew up alongside his siblings—Jerry, Jan, and Mike—with a strong foundation of family and faith.
His family later moved to Colorado Springs, where Larry attended St. Mary’s High School. A gifted three-sport athlete, Larry also met the love of his life, Margaret Hall, during these formative years. Their bond grew into a marriage that spanned 66 beautiful years.
After high school, Larry proudly served in the United States Air Force, stationed in Tripoli. His athleticism earned him All-European honors as a third baseman. Upon returning home, he married Margaret, and together they raised five children: Tim, Troy, Tom, Terry, and Tammie.
In 1965, Larry began a new chapter as the equipment manager for the Denver Broncos. He served the team with dedication until 1982, contributing to the organization in many roles. His competitive spirit and love for sports continued throughout his life, especially on the golf course. Larry worked at Fox Hollow Golf Course in Lakewood until the age of 85, where he found joy in both the game and the community.
Larry’s legacy lives on through his loving wife Margaret, his five children, his grandchildren—Ryan, Lauren, Maxwell, Matthew, Sarah, Mark, Kyle, Kevin, Haleigh and Cole (departed)—and his great-grandchildren Jackson and Cole. He is also survived by his brother Mike and sister Jan.
A Life of Faith and Kindness
Larry loved people, and he loved Jesus Christ. His warmth, humor, and unwavering devotion to family and community touched everyone he met. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit lives on in the lives he shaped and the memories he leaves behind.
