he family of Karla Kinuyo Hora Powell of Denver, Colorado is saddened to announce her passing on November 20, 2025 at the age of 67 years. She is survived by her husband Jerome Powell, sisters Karen (Tom) Hawkins and Sherry (Dennis) Sheridan, brother Kelly Hora, nephews Kimo (Haleigh) Toguchi and Drake Sheridan, nieces Madeline Sheridan and Natalie Sheridan, children Bridgette Powell, Pauline (Gary) Rambo, Brandy Powell, and Justin Powell, and numerous grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents Toshio Hora and Kathleen Kiyo Hora. A Celebration of Life will be held at St Paul’s Community Church, 8001 W 23rd Ave, Lakewood on December 10 at 10:30 am followed by inurnment at Fort Logan National Cemetery at 1:00 pm.
