Resided in: Denver, Colorado

With profound sadness, we share the passing of Jessica Masson (VanNote), who left this world far too soon at the age of 37. Her life, though cut heartbreakingly short, was filled with love, laughter, and a heart that touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Jayden, who was the light of her life and best friend; her devoted husband, Rick, who stood by her with unwavering love; her parents, Randy and Nancy, who cherished her beyond measure; her brothers, Raul and Justin, who adored their sister’s ability to always pull things together even when it stressed her out every time; and her grandmother, Dea, who held her close in both pride and love; and her loving mother in-law Genie who adored her deeply!
Jessica had a way of making people feel seen and appreciated. Whether through charm, her gentle encouragement, or her over the top presence, she brought joy into every room she entered. She gave generously, loved fiercely, and lived with a beautiful openness that inspired those around her.
Her legacy is one of compassion, resilience, and a love that will continue to echo in the hearts of her family and friends. Though her time here was far too brief, her impact will remain forever — woven into the memories she created and the lives she shaped.
May her memory be a blessing, and may those who loved her find comfort in knowing how deeply she was cherished.

  3. My sister was a beautiful soul that cared so deeply for everyone and everything. She will be missed everyday and I will be sure to keep her spirit alive in my heart and by loving and caring as she did.

  4. We didn’t get to visit often but when we did, I remember thinking ‘man she is so cool and beautiful’. While we may have been distant cousins (in more ways than one) I was proud of the woman Jessica grew to be. Praying for you all to have peace for the days to come. There isn’t a doubt in my mind that she is lighting up heaven with her infectious personality like she did down here on earth.
