Ellen Joyce Thompson, 64

Ellen was born in Omaha, Nebraska 12-29-1956 to her parents

Raymond Emil Thompson, and Philomena Ann Thompson. She passed away on February 20, 2021, after a time of illness. When she was 5 years old the family moved to Pueblo, Colorado where she attended South High School. She is survived by her sisters and brother; Joann M. Thompson ( Joe Huebersburger), Judith Louise Thompson, Janet K. Short (Howard), & Cheryl Lynn Thompson. As well her Brother, Raymond E. Thompson (Gina). She has 7 nieces and nephews, and 7 great nieces and nephews as well as numerous cousins, aunts and uncles, all of whom loved and cared about her dearly. A Celebration of Life Mass will be held on Friday, March 12th at Holy Family Catholic Church in Pueblo, CO beginning at 11am followed by a private graveside service for immediate family only. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Stork-Bullock Mortuary of Lakewood, CO.

    I remember well, the day I walked in to check on Ellie, and Ray, you were sleeping holding Ellie's hand, and Gina, you were in the sink getting cold wash clothes for Ellie's head. That was the kind of love that Ellie gave to so many of us who cared for her each day. Her smile and willingness to help brought so much brightness to a bleak situation this last year. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family as you go through this time. May God bring you the comfort he brought to Ellie, and the love your family has exemplified keep shining.
