Elizabeth Brown

On April 10, 2025, Elizabeth (Betty) Ann Moseley Brown finished her race on earth, entered Heaven’s gate and fulfilled her life’s greatest wish of meeting her Savior face to face.

Betty was born to John Bender and Eva Maie (Harris) Moseley on July 13, 1940 in Englewood, Colorado. The fifth child of seven, she stayed in Englewood until 1960 when she married Joseph Eugene Brown. She joined him in Frankfurt, Germany shortly after they married and supported his career as a dedicated military wife until he retired in 1972. During their marriage, she blessed him with four beautiful children, and ensured they were raised to follow Jesus and serve others, even when Joe’s military duties took him away from the family for long periods of time. She remained dedicated and faithful to her family, friends, and church until she was called to Heaven. Despite many physical afflictions, she stayed focused on the hope of one day being reunited with the love of her life and being welcomed to Heaven by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

She is survived by her four children: Bridget (Brown) and Michael Carbiener of Denver, Colorado, Belinda (Brown) and Curtis Pederson of Mountain Home, Idaho, Brian O’Brien of Littleton, Colorado, and Brandi (Brown) and Ben Kuiper of Colorado Springs. She leaves behind seven grandchildren: Risa Cunningham, Bree Pederson (Jason Tuttle), Emily Brown, Elizabeth (Jacob) Scull, Adriana Kuiper, Johanna Kuiper, and Matthew Kuiper. She leaves behind six great-grandchildren: Alex Cunningham, Maddi Cunningham, Serenity Cunningham, Zayl Tuttle, Azreal Tuttle, and Darla Maie Scull.

Guestbook

  1. I remember Betty’s smile. We knew each other through Sheridan Music Boosters while Brandi was in school. We moms had a lot of fun working with our kids in the music program. I’m saddened to hear of her passing. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this difficult time.
