It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Carlos Victor Gonzales, a beloved person, father, grandfather and friend, who left us suddenly on March 10, 2026, at the age of 78, due to a sever stroke and other health conditions. Carlos was born on May 21, 1947, in Denver, Colorado, to his beloved parents, Aurelia and Eufracio Gonzales.

Carlos lived a life of service and dedication. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army, where he was stationed in Korea from 1965 to 1968. His courage and commitment to his nation were a testament to his character, a man who always put others before himself.

After his military service, Carlos embarked on a long and fulfilling career as a mail carrier in the mail room at the post office. His work ethic and attention to detail made him a valued member of his team, and his colleagues remember him as someone who brought positivity and humor to the workplace each day.

Carlos was a man of simple pleasures who found joy in the little things. He loved fishing and spending time with his family, often taking long walks to appreciate the beauty of the world around him. His quick wit and warm smile were his trademarks, and he was always ready with a joke and a hug, making everyone he met feel welcome and cherished. His kindness and generosity touched countless lives, leaving a legacy that will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

-Carlos is predeceased by his beloved son, Gregory Gonzales, Grandson Greg Gonzales his parents, Aurelia and Eufracio Gonzales, and his sister, Christina Gonzales. Though they have gone before him, their spirits remain intertwined, guiding him on his final journey home.

He is survived by his significant other Frances Belo(Gonzales) son, Michael Gonzales daughter, June Bravo, grandchildren, Monique, Anisa, Jerald, Mikey, Daymond, Makayla, and numerous great-grandchildren, who all carry forward his legacy of love and laughter. Carlos’s family and friends, will miss him dearly and cherish the memories they shared.

In honoring Carlos’s memory, let us remember the laughter he brought into our lives, the warmth he radiated, and the kindness he spread. His spirit will live on in our hearts, reminding us of the power of love and the importance of family forgiveness and making every moment count.
