On October 8th 2025, Albert Sandoval passed away peacefully at age 102 at his daughters home in Lakewood, Colorado.
Albert was born on July 28th, 1923 to parents Juan & Acaria Sandoval in Las Vegas, New Mexico. He married his beloved wife, Socorro Rodriguez on August 8th, 1942 and had two children Albert & Gloria.
He is survived by his daughter Gloria (George) Manalo, Granddaughter Renee (Tony) Vialpando, and Grandson Jon (Jennifer) Manalo. Many grandchildren, 2 Great Great Children, Niece Karen & Nephews Jimmy & Ronald.
He is deceased by his wife of 75 years, Parents, Son Albert, Sister Alicia, Brother Arthur and Grandson Fred, Nephews Sunny, Lloyd & Robert and Niece Diana.
Albert served in WW II as a PFC in the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1946. He was honorably discharged on New Year’s Day in 1946 with a Good Conduct Medal. He then worked as a Drywaller for 40 years.
He was a devoted Husband, wonderful Father, Brother, Uncle and Grandfather. What he loved most in life was spending time with his Family. We were very blessed to have him in our lives for so many years. We will miss him dearly.
Funeral Services will be on Tuesday October 28th at 11:00 – Notre Dame Catholic Church. 2190 So. Sheridan Blvd., Denver Colorado.
Following his Burial at Fort Logan National Cemetery at 12:45 – 4400 W. Kenyon Ave. Denver Colorado.
Reception will be held at P.F. Chang’s from 2-4pm 7210 W. Alameda Ave., Lakewood Colorado.

I’ve known Mr. Sandoval since I was a child. I must have been about 10 years old. He was always so kind, friendly, and welcoming. He and Mrs. Sandoval were dear friends of my parents, and I’ll always treasure the special friendship our families shared. He will be deeply missed by many.
