Joseph Emanuel Anderson

Joseph Emanuel Anderson, 45, of Englewood, CO, passed away from a cardiac event while hiking with his daughters in Summit County on August 28th.

A faithful servant of Jesus Christ, who famously wouldn’t cease proclaiming His name, Joe was passionate about seeing the Kingdom of God come on earth. To that end, he served as a minister, business owner, and Mayor Pro Tem on the Englewood City Council. Joe loved bringing his neighbors and community together for a wide variety of events and service projects. To those who knew him best, Joe was known as a skilled and joyful singer, a maker of excellent coffee, an avid backpacker, a devoted husband, and a delighted father.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 18 years, Becca, five daughters Jael, Esther, Karis, Anastasia, and Irene, two sons Abraham and Daniel, his sister Cristy and brother John, and parents Steve and Vicki.

The Anderson family invites you to join them in honoring Joe at a Funeral Service this Friday, September 4th at 10:00 am at Foothills Bible Church (6100 S. Devinney Way, Littleton). A light reception will follow.
