It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Loretta “Lori” Lamorie, who passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at the age of 73.

Lori was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother and great-grandmother, cherished sister, aunt, and loyal friend. She dedicated her life to creating a home filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support for everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Alongside her devoted husband, Rudolph Lamorie., Lori built a beautiful family and raised their three children: Rudy Lamorie, Shawndee Aguilar, and Serina Bautista. Her family was the center of her world, and nothing brought her greater happiness than having everyone together. Whether it was a holiday, birthday, backyard cookout, or an ordinary Sunday afternoon, Lori’s home was always open. She made sure no one left hungry and that everyone felt welcomed, loved, and cared for.

Lori found joy in life’s simple pleasures she loved playing bingo, spending hours working on puzzles, cheering on her Denver Broncos, and singing along to her favorite oldies songs. She had an unforgettable laugh that could brighten any room and a sense of humor that made every gathering more joyful.

Those who knew Lori will remember her honesty, her strength, and her generous heart. She never hesitated to speak the truth, offer advice, or lend a helping hand whenever someone needed her, she was there without hesitation, without judgment, and without expecting anything in return. Her kindness, compassion, and fierce loyalty touched countless lives, leaving every person who met her with a special memory to cherish.

Lori was preceded in death by her beloved mother Annie and her brothers, Stan Garcia, and Bob Bowman, Sisters Georgia Earing-Martinez and Virgina Garcia. Her family finds comfort in knowing she has been reunited with them in Heaven.

She leaves behind her loving husband Rudolph Lamorie, Children, Rudy Lamorie (Irene), Shawndee Aguilar (Bryan), and Serina Bautista (Chuy), Sisters Darlene Garcia, Becky Castillo, Maxine Castillo, Brothers Lennard Garcia, Pep Garcia, and Gerald Earing, Grandmother of Justin, Daniel Lamorie, Zach Lamorie, Marcos Bautista, Shaylene Lamorie, Rudy Lamorie Jr., Arthur Bautista, Bryan Aguilar, Alicia Lamorie, and Delorean Bautista.

Each of her grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and she treasured every moment they shared together. She was also blessed to be a great-grandmother, a role she embraced with the same unconditional love that defined her life. We will forever cherish the love, guidance, and strength she gave us all.

Lori’s greatest legacy is the love she gave so freely. She was the glue that held her family together, the person everyone could count on, and the heart of every gathering. Her compassion, generosity, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Though she will be deeply missed, Lori’s love, laughter, and beautiful spirit will never be forgotten. Her family will carry her memory forward by honoring the values she lived every day: kindness, honesty, generosity, and unconditional love.
