With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Tobias Joel Kelly on January 2nd, 2026, at the age of 40.

Tobias was deeply loved and will be remembered for his kindness, strength, sense of humor and generosity. He had a special way of making others feel seen, welcomed, and his presence brought comfort and joy to so many.

Family meant everything to Tobias he cherished his children, Mother, Father, siblings and the rest of his extended family, and took great pride in helping his family in any way he could. The love he gave will continue to live on through those who were blessed to know and love him. Tobias gave the final gift he could of organ donation which saved the lives of five different people.

Tobias is survived by his mother Rene Kelly; Father Angelo Shipley Sr; Sister Angela Shipley; Brothers Angelo Shipley and Trevon Johnston; his children Marissa, Jordan, Toni and Tobias Jr; and nieces and nephews Tianna, Leo, Journee, and Ares. Tobias was preceded in death by his Grandmother Barbara Aranda, Grandfather Steven Kelly, Great grandmother(s) Loraine Velasquez, Georgia Kelly, Great Grandfather(s) John Velasquez, Charles Kelly, Great Uncle(s) Anthony Martinez, Bobby Kelly, Great Aunt Joann Martinez as well as several other elder family members.

Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in the countless memories and the legacy of love Tobias leaves behind. All our lives are so much more blessed to have known, cherished and loved Tobias.
