After a brave battle, our beloved family matriarch, Dorothy Mae (nee Tatman) Bennett has passed away while her loving family was by her side.

Dorothy was born on May 8, 1932 to Claude and Mary Tatman in Pueblo, Colorado.

Dorothy married Roderick A. Bennett on October 16, 1953 and is survived by her children:
Juanita, Beryl, Roderick, Monica Fendley, Colleen (David) Homack, Blake (Kevin) and Derek(Christine), her grand children: Kristy, Veronica, Tiffany, Joshua (Mollie), Brandon, Alyssa (Courtney) and Gavin, 6 great grandchildren, 4 great great grand children, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Roderick, her grandson Michael, her brother Wray Tatman and sister Phyllis Tatman Williams.

Dorothy was very dedicated to her family. Through the years, she enjoyed bowling and Square Dancing with her husband. it brought joy to her life when she could spend holidays or any occasion surrounded by her family.

You could often find her with a cup of coffee in hand on Sundays watching NASCAR or her Denver Broncos.

Final arrangements are being handled by Stork Morley Funeral and Cremation with her final resting place at Ft. Logan National Cemetery beside her husband.

Funeral will be at Stork-Morley Funeral Home on March 27, 2025 from 11:30 – 1pm. There will be no visitation prior.
A service following the funeral will be held at Ft Login starting at 2 pm.
