Harold Noah Chafitz

Harold Chafitz age 88 passed away on March 7, 2023 at Brookdale Meridian Lakewood in Lakewood CO. after a difficult battle with Lymphoma and is finally at peace.
Harold, nicknamed Hal, was born to Nathan and Estelle Chafitz on November 26,1934 in Brooklyn, NY. He was a prominent tax attorney and certified public accountant in NYC for over 30 years until he retired to Florida and then Colorado. Hal had a fantastic sense of humor and sharp wit and loved to make people laugh, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren who called him Great Hal.
Hal was predeceased in death by the love of his life Virginia Jackman Chafitz. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Bill Holmberg,His grandchildren Leslie and Chaz Nelson and Billy Holmberg and great-grandchildren Ford and Gabriel. Hal is also survived by his step- daughter Maureen Jackman and her loving family.
Hal will be forever loved and remembered. No services will take place as Hal requested but we do appreciate your love and support during this difficult time.
