John “Papo” Marquez

John Marquez affectionately known as “Papo” by his Kids and Grandkids passed away
peacefully at home on Friday, January 29 2021. John was born on May 31, 1960 to
Robert and Dorothy Marquez of Center, CO. John grew up in Center and attended Center
High School. John worked in the agricultural field for many years and then changed
trades and found his love for carpentry. He would reminisce about working as a
carpenter and how much he enjoyed building things. John’s hobbies included hunting
and fishing with his dad, and with his loved ones. John also loved spending time with his
family whom he cherished.
John is survived by children Andrew (Christie) Marquez, Minna (Ronald) Prosser and
Jason (Christina) Naranjo. He is also survived by grandchildren; Zeddekyah, Triston,
Troy, Travis, Angelina, Jazlyn, Jenesis and Jyziah. He is also survived by Mother Dorothy
Marquez and brother Robert (Liz) Marquez. John is also survived by numerous extended family.
He was preceded in death by his father Robert Marquez, brother Leonard Marquez
and sister Julie Sisneros.
A viewing for John will be held a Stork-Bullock Funeral Home in Lakewood on
Thursday, February 4th at 3P.M. followed by a memorial service.

Services have been entrusted to Stork-Bullock Mortuary of Lakewood, CO.
